Vintage original USGI Springfield Armory M1 Garand Service Rifle. Serial number 5430176, manufactured in 1954 with original barrel dated 10-54. Caliber 30-06 Springfield. Absolutly 100% original with matching parts and outstanding original finish. Accompanied by a CMP Certificate of Authenticity dated February, 2012. Also includes an M1 Garand Data Sheet documenting all correct parts(See photo for breakdown of all numbered parts). 24" Barrel. 13 1/4" length of pull to original metal trapdoor butt plate. Outstanding overall condition retaining a very high percentage of ORIGINAL metal and stock finish(See photos). Original Walnut stock and matching handguards with excellent well struck original cartouches. Barrel gauges new ME=1 and TE=2 using new CMP gauges. Bore is pristine bright and shiny with beautiful crisp, sharp rifling. Excellent mechanical condition. Very rare and desirable collection quality, correct and matching 1950's era Springfield M1 Rifle. Comes in original CMP shipping box with paperwork and accessories. Copy of FFL or C&R license required prior to shipping. Winning pays $80.00 for shipping to the lower 48. Not for sale where prohibited.
