"SN: 88266 made in 1898 in Meriden CT. 16 gauge side by side with 28" Damascus barrels with a single silver bead and 2 ½" chambers choked Cylinder and Improved Cylinder on a #1 frame. Box lock with extractors and double triggers. LOP measures 14 ¼" to the original engraved skeleton butt plate with a drop of 1 ¾" to 2 7/8". Bores are bright with some signs that a couple small dents were removed. Barrels and action are in good condition with the pattern slightly faded but fully visible throughout the barrels and some of the original case color visible on the finely engraved action. The wood is in very good condition for its age with just some minor handling marks and signs of wear and the stock has its original grip cap and metal stock oval. Barrels are on face with no play and the action locks up tight with the top lever resting just right of center. Overall weight is 6 lbs 12 oz.
