Description:
This I.B.M. carbine was produced around 12-43 to 1-44. The carbine's serial number is 3884463. It has a undated I.B.M. barrel. This barrel is in very fine condition with no issues. The bore is bright with sharp lands. This carbine retains all of the original parts as it left the factory. All of these parts are correct for the time frame and serial number range. This carbine retains it's light green tint to the military finish. The stock and handguard are correctly marked for I.B.M. The wood is in very nice condition with the original finish intact. The sights are correct for this carbine. This carbine does show some light service use and wear. The sling and oiler are original World War 2 issued. I.B.M. produced 5.7% of the carbines produced during the war. That breaks down to 346500 carbines produced by them. Surviving original condition carbines are getting quite rare! Here is one of these original carbines for the serious collector!
