WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 .38-40 WCF LEVER ACTION RIFLE.
This rifle was manufactured in 1900. This rifle is in standard configuration with 24" full round barrel and tube magazine, blue finish, walnut stock with rifle butt plate & and matching forearm. It is equiped with a German silver tip front sight and semi buckhorn rear sight.
CONDITION:
The overall condition of this rifle is Fine. All the metal is a homogenous blue patina blend with sharp barrel legends. The screw heads on this rifle are in very good shape with little or no abuse. The stocks are flush to metal and has been lightly refinished at some point in its history. The stocks exhibit the usual scattered light dings & impressions from rifles of this vintage. The bore is very good with well defined and some light abrasion. Action is crisp and cycles well. A nice looking rifle that can be easily put to use.
