Description:
Exceedingly rare/scarce John Walch 12 shot percussion revolver. Made 1859, only 200 were made and this is #141. .36 cal, 12- shot, 12 nipples, the cylinders are double loaded, 2 hammers. This gun has one of the most unusual mechanisms of any American made revolver and was considered a secondary military, quite impossible to find. Fully functional. This gun has no markings and that is correct, these were not buffed away. On unmarked guns only the serial number is visible on the bottom of the backstrap. Very fine condition overall. The metal is a smooth pleasing antique gun metal grey. The grips are beautiful with very little handling age wear. Don't pass this one up, you won't find another. From my personal collection.
