Description:
This is a full box, 20 original rounds, of .38-56 black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester circa 1905 with 255 grain lead bullets. The two piece, round corner, full front-seal labeled box has an excellent cartridge cut with call out for the Winchester Model 1886 rifle. In very fine to near excellent condition the top and side label show scattered flaking and rub wear with otherwise complete graphics. The box is solid with seam separation on the bottom right edge. The cartridges are in excellent condition. A hard to find box in a desirable caliber.
