About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for over 50 years. Now I feel that it is time to start selling a few things. All firearms transactions will be handled by a local Gun shop who will follow all firearms laws. All firearms purchased will be shipped by them to your F.F.L. I do my best to price my items fairly. If you see something that you are interested in, and you think that my price is out of line, please make an offer. I don't have much room for negotiation, but I will work with you if I can. I do not have many items to sell. Please keep checking my items and I will try to add regularly to my listings. I hope to find good homes for these items that are special to me. Please read descriptions and terms, I will endeavor to be accurate.

Description:
Winchester Model 1892 Rifle, 24 inch round barrel in .32 WCF (.32-20). This one was made in 1907 making it 117 years old. It is in great mechanical condition with a smooth action that locks up tight. The bluing is very good on the barrel and magazine tube. The receiver has most of the bluing gone, like most of these old ones. My gunsmith checked this one out and pronounced it safe to fire (please consult with your gunsmith) so I ran about 20 rounds through it with no jams or malfunctions. Accuracy was acceptable, considering its age, it shot minute of tin can every time. The bore is rough but has strong riflings and cleaned up easily. The buttstock has a few chips missing near the lever, and a repair on the left side that you can easily see in the pictures. Someone with good woodworking skills could easily repair this although when I fired it there was no problem. The rifle has the correct factory sights and the correct curved steel buttplate and appears to be unaltered in any way. There are no major scratches or gouges in the wood other than what I have described. This is a very pleasant rifle to shoot with very light recoil. If you handload, you can also shoot it cheaply. I get about 20 loads out of each brass case in this caliber. Overall, this is a good example of a good old honest 1892 that is fun to shoot and handle. It is a reminder of a time when the world was a very different place.
