The common topped rotating powder door still works and the spring is strong. The adjustable charger has 4 different notches for powder charge size. The body is embossed with a full Native American hunting figure, complete with Tomahawk in a wooded landscape, standing next to a felled deer. This appears never to be cleaned with a wonderful patina, a few small dents, two upper strap bolts with rings, solid side seams and in over-all excellent condition, flask dates to the 1850's. This flask is described in "The Powder Flask Book" by Ray Rilings on page 302. Price: $279.00 |
