"This U.S. Model 1884 trapdoor 45 Government centerfire caliber (45-70) is ready for your collection. The 32 5/8"" round barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. All metal has approx. 98% blue. The breechblock and tang have good case colors. The stock is very fine with no cracks or chips, a strong SWP/1887 cartouche and firing proof, and a few scattered storage dents and dings. The action functions correctly.
