For sale is a James Kirk of Glasgow, Scotland , 12 guage, Boxlock, extractor side by side shotgun. KIrk name may not be one that snaps immnediatly to mind, but this maker was responsible for making fine shotguns. This particular double is a 12 bore, non ejector (extractor) in very nice condition. Serial number 1235 made in the early 1900's. Barrels have been sleeved at which time the rib was replaced so the barrels are tight. Double triggers which have a crisp pull as expected. Mirror bores. Rose and Scroll engraving on locks with makers name. 2 1/2 inch chambers, Nitro Proofed. 28"sleeved barrels retain nice bluing with a 1 inch fading on bottomside.
