Description:
We are excited to bring to the market this beautiful near mint example of a mid WWI 1916 Austrian Military Issued Model 1912 Steyr Hahn Pistol.  Now don’t panic, the rock used for photography is a piece of Hollywood Styrofoam. This was Austrian military accepted in 1916 with the markings on the right side of the trigger(W.n. 1916) The pistol is all matching with a mirror bright excellent bore. Chambered for the 9mm Steyr cartridge, it packed more punch than the 9mm Luger cartridge. This pistol has no magazine and is loaded from the top either singly or with a stripper clip. This is what we collectors call a “high condition” piece and retains 95%+ of its finish. 1912 Steyr’s are seldom found in this superior condition anymore. The pistol comes with a beautiful solid leather & dated 1914 reproduction holster. These pistols were very reliable and Steyr Hahn weapons were in still in widespread use by many combatants even during WWII, especially in Italy.  If you collect WWI era pistols this is a fine example for your collection.  To complete the transaction, we will need a copy of your FFL or C&R of choice for shipping purposes. For payment we will accept personal checks, money orders, certified check or cashiers’ check. Personal checks require 8 business days to clear the bank, all other forms of payment receive same day as received shipment. Shipping and full coverage insurance is included in the price. By purchase of this item, you release the seller from any liability that may arise due to use or misuse of this firearm. If you are in the Middle Tennessee area, please visit us at “Jones Antiques / The Bunker” 6 South Washington on the Court House square in Cookeville TN.
