A well used, fully functional and shootable collector’s Winchester Model 1894 / Model 94 Saddle Ring Carbine in 30-30 / 30 WCF Caliber; SN 594,3XX which places the Date of Manufacture in 1910 – 1911, well into the Smokeless Powder era. This one is all Original with 20-Inch Round Barrel; Saddle/Sling Ring; Single-Band Forend, Serrated Steel Buttplate, and a very cool 3-Leaf Express Sight. The receiver and lever finish are smooth patina with areas of blue left in the typical pattern of hand carry by grasping the receiver. The barrel has more blue then the rest of the carbine, and has Sharp Original Markings, as does the Receiver, Ring and Upper Tang. The bore has some even light pitting with sharp lands and grooves & no major defects. This ought to be a good original Winchester shooter offered at a price comparable to foreign-made replicas. The Stock is dark with age, nicely grained, with a few dings that include a couple of small dents on the left side of the forend just behind the band. There’s a thin crack in front of the band on the right side. Fit and function are tight and fully serviceable. Our non-expert/non-dealer estimate is (approximately) 35-40 Percent Original Condition.
