"NSN, circa 1800-1805, .69 caliber, 42" round smooth bore barrel. Barrel has deep “NC" cartouches present. Barrel and other iron furniture are a dark patina with scattered surface pitting visible. Re-Stock has expected handling and usage wear marks, but remains in overall very good condition. Lock plate has “EAGLE/US" Forward of the hammer, rear of the hammer is marked “SPRINGFIELD". Action holds at half and full cock. Musket comes with “NC" marked bayonet.
