Springer Mauser rifle is the typical post war German hunting rifle. It is fitted with German claw optic mounts, double set trigger, quarter rib express sights and a spoon bolt handle. Overall condition is very good with only a few scattered spots of superficial corrosion and no major wear on the stock. The bottom metal and bolt handle are accented with very attractive Germanic engravings and a game scene on the magazine floor plate. The only real detraction on this rifle is the missing scope and the unknown chambering, I have measured the bore to be 8mm but the chamber needs to be cast to be sure.
