"Serial number 1727. Made in 1899. 7.63 Mauser caliber with a 5.5" barrel. This gun is excellent as refinished. The grips are very good as well. This is an Italian navy contract which was numbered in its own serial number range. This gun has the flatsside frame and the large ring hammer. The left hand side of the chamber is marked “DV" which is the Italian navy proof.
