Leupold Vari-X II 3-9X40 with Duplex Reticle.
Scope is in very good condition with minor dings and scratches. It is clear and appears to function correctly.
Metal is in good condition with dings, scratches and rub marks. The sight wings on the rear receiver bridge have been ground off and there are some extra holes. It looks like some holes have been welded up and the bridge re-ground. The front sight has been removed but the slot is still there. The bolt cocks on closing and the magazine follower has not been beveled, so the bolt locks open after the last round.
Walnut sporter stock is in fair to good condition with nicks, dents, gouges and a chunk missing at the tang. The stock is solid and it doesnt appear that there are any problems that would affect the function.
Bore is good with strong rifling and some pitting.
This would be great for a beginner or a project .
