"Serial number 40695. Made in 1905. 7.63 caliber with a 5.5" barrel. This is a scarce gun as it is a Bolo model with a 5.5" barrel instead of the normal 4" that is on the standard model. This is a very fine gun with 70% of the original finish. This is an early small ring hammer. There is a similar gun published in The Broomhandle Pistol 1896 – 1936 by Wayne Erickson on page 128. The gun on page 128 is a Large Ring Variation and is only about 400 serial numbers earlier than this particular gun.
