Description: This is a partial box, 38 original rounds, of .22 caliber red crimped cartridges manufactured by the Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) in england for the Cox Universal Humane Killer bolt gun circa late 1920's-1930's. The two piece red and black box is marked "Suitable only for use in the / COX / UNIVERSAL Killer / RED CRIMPED---For all small / animals". The primary label has very good color and graphics on top with bottom having some crazing and flaking. The cartridges are in excellent condition. An interesting .22 box. Identified as ICI-8 S-2 in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference for foreign cartridges based on the original Dunn classification system. Price: $85.00 |
