I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique Remington No.4 New Model .38 rimfire caliber Single Action Revolver, made 1877-1888, total quantity estimated at approximately 23,000 these Remington New Model Revolvers were the first production model handun chambered for .38 RF caliber. Marked on the top of the barrel: "E. Remington. Ilion. N.Y." . Serial number under the grip: "4008". The original nickel finish rates 60% with flaking sopts of erosion mostly on the cylinder. With a 2.1/2" round barrel with good bore with sharp rifling. FFL is not required for the transfer. It’s chambered for .38 RF caliber, and is one of the most collectible of the Remington-Smoot series. 5x round cylinder with clean chamber. Spur trigger. In excellent shape & working condition. The bird head walnut grips are in good condition. The old ammunitions showed on one of the pictures are not for sale. What is not written in the description would be showed on the pictures. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures.
