Inspections for returns must be done at FFL before leaving the premises. Returns require the gun in the exact same condition as it left the Seller. Revolvers should not be dry fired multiple times during inspection to avoid deeper turn lines on collectible guns.

Here is one of my 1980 Colt 2-1/2" snub Pythons from my private collection. It is the Colt Royal Blue finish. There are a few very small light handling marks as shown in the photos (oil on the trigger in photo-not scratches), most you can't see unless you get very close up and turn the pistol a certain way as I did in the photos so the light would pick up the tiny scratch. The finish looks great otherwise as you can see. This would make an awesome original classic 2-1/2" Python you can be proud to own w/o spending $5k! If your looking for a 100% perfect finish (I doubt that can happen at this price), BUT spend $540 at FORD'S CUSTOM GUN REFINISHING for a beautiful complete new factory HIGH POLISHED blued museum quality finish and you are still below market value with your total investment.
Grips look new to me and they are a dark checkered wood with gold Colt medallions. The grips fit perfect. I have a few of the Colt docs that came in the box if you want them but the box hasn't been found. If I find the box, I will update the ad but for now it is sold as shown with no box. This one has perfect timing with no play and locks up tight as a frog's waterproof butt.
