Description:
Confederate canteen1840s to 1870s era tin drum canteen as carried by most gold prospectors, cowboys, and Confederate soldiers and some Northern militia men as well. All tin construction... two strap brackets intact... tin spout. Nice early piece appropriate to display with early war effects from north or south or mining collectibles and cowboy gear.
Measurements are 7 3/4 across by 8 1/4 top to bottom depth around 2 1/4. I think it has a very slow leak.
