Bannerman Quaker Gun – 1864 – Military Trainer- Non Firing – Stk# P-82-61

This Bannerman Quaker Gun was made to be used as a cadet training rifle for various military schools sometime between 1890 – 1914. The breech and 8” of the muzzle is separated by a 19-1/2” wood insert to give the feel of a normal rifle. The Walnut stock mounted with steel furniture is in fair condition with moderate handling marks. The large military style percussion lock (no markings) works as intended and is activated by a single trigger. There is a false ram rod in the rod channel. Length of pull is 13-1/2”, overall length is 45-3/4”, and the weight is 4.8 lbs.
Please Note: This is NOT a firearm. This is a training aid. NO MILITARY MARKINGS.
