***REDUCED*** Sharps Model 1874 Sporting Rifle .44-90 shipped Nov. 19 / 1875 to Carlos Gove and Sons Gunsmith & Dealer in Denver Colorado, Serial number C,544XX, 28 inch octagon barrel, Original Lawrence open sights,  Serial numbers on tang - barrel and butt plate all match, Double set triggers,Rifle weight is 12 Lbs, Bluing has turned a brown plumb color patina and is in very good condition, Bore and rifling are very good and strong, Receiver markings are clear, Stock and forearm may have been an older replacement or refinished cannot confirm, Forearm has fancy pewter tip, Letter from Dr. Richard Labowskie owner of the original Sharps Rifle Co. records will be included with rifle, Great condition rifle sold to famous western dealer Carlos Gove before Colorado statehood.150 year old Buffalo hunter era rifle.    Layaway  Available
