These grips are made of Polyurethane and 20% bone to get the perfect finished color for a polished old ivory antique look. These Grips are made a bit oversized so you can adjust to the best fit. See the pictures, showing the reveres side of a 1st generation Colt grip frame. As you can see some sanding will be required to get a perfect fit. On 2nd and 3rd Colt grip frames you will need progressively less and less sanding.
These are an easy fit on the 1873 Colt, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Generation COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY, CIMARRON, UBERTI PIETTA AND MOST SAA STYLE REVOLVERS.
Choose from 5 different Ivory looks.
When any of these grips are installed as a ONE PIECE GRIP they will come with a spacer to be glued between the grip halves.
When any of these grips are installed as a TWO PIECE GRIP they will require drilling a screw hole and installing Grips escutcheons and screw. to be ordered separately. Also see our grip fitting service, if you want someone else to do the work we would be happy to Fit your Grips
