"NS: 8809. Beautiful Donut Scroll Factory Engraved Colt 1851 Navy .36 caliber revolver. Made in 1851. Beautiful gun with the early “Donut Scroll" engraving. Good original blue remains on the barrel. Case colors have turned gray. Cylinder scene is sharp. Gun has extra engraving. Wedge is an unnumbered replacement. Grips have been refinished. Hard to find an early donut style engraved gun. You find the “Donut Scroll" engraving on the late 3rd Model dragoons, early 1851 navies and 1849 pockets. Very nice condition and on a very nicely engraved gun! Comes with wooden presentation case.
