Description:
Original Antique percussion Kentucky/Pennsylvania half stock rifle dated 1876. The functioning set trigger lock is marked DC&co. Cincinnati which is listed in the data base for antique gun makers. The rifle is 47 inches with a 31" barrel. The barrel is signed EM 1876 and has front rear sights and appears to be approximately 36 caliber. The barrel and lock are dark brown with scattered pitting. The trigger gaurd and but plate are brass with a brown patina. The wood stock appears to be maple with 2 cracks under the trigger assembly. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
