Cal 30-06. 21-1/2" barrel with caterpillar front sight and island folding two leaf rear. Marked "Carl Guntermann Dusseldorf". Mauser action is fully engraved with floral sprays, engraved butter knife bolt, floorplate engraved in relief game scene with fighting stag by L.W. Kessler, Suhl. Side safety. Mannlicher style stock of exhibition quality fiddleback walnut has ebony forend tip, multi point checkering, horn trigger guard, double set triggers and pancake cheekpiece, checkered hard rubber butt. Leuplod 1.5x5 scope in fully engraved claw mount rings. PROVANCE: Remarkable William Larken Moore Private estate collection. Condition is excellent. Gun retains virtually all of its custom finishes with some tiny chipping on inside of horn trigger guard, otherwise gun remains in as new condition. Mechanics are crisp , bright shinny bore, optics are clear. Serial # 35244.
