US Ordance records show that these guns were issued to 44th & 55th Illinois, 9th Iowa, 22nd & 30th Wisconsin and 56th Ohio. The Model 1851 rifles were a product of PJ Malherbe & Cie of Liege. The dark wood stock shows much use and the metal is covered with pitting so no markings are visible. The musket is missing its rear sight but is otherwise complete with sling swivels and functions fine. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
