This Winchester was produced in 1935. The Carbine's serial number is 6527. This carbine has the 20 inch barrel chambered to shoot the 22 Long Rifle cartridge. The bore is bright and in very fine condition. This carbine has seen light use and handling. The original bluing would rate a 96% or better condition. The stock and forend retain the original finish. There is no cracks or other damage to the wood. The action works great with no issues. The take down feature is tight with no abuse from taking this gun apart or reassembling it. The rear sight is by Lyman. This rifle has the rear sight that is commonly seen on the Winchester Model 1903 22 Carbines. The front sight is original to this gun. These early model 63 carbines saw much use and wear due to their popularity. To find a truly fine condition carbine like this gun is, it is a real prize today for the collector!
