This revolver has a rich history. It is a real early single action Colt that has unique provenance with dual ownership of 2 well known individuals. Hank Williams Jr. originally owned this revolver and had it put into this configuration by Kings Gun Works. He and Mike Venturino were good friends and Mike ended up with the gun after some ownership in between. I have a letter from Mike Venturino giving the exact history of the gun and it's background. If you don't know who Mike Venturino was, he was a prolific gun writer and author of 5 books on guns and history. He was influential in restarting the whole black powder shooting sports that led to BPCR and Cowbioy Action Shooting sports in the 1980's. Hank Williams Jr. is the son of the original Hank Williams and he is a successful country/western singer in his own right. There is not another revolver like this and there will never be. It is a firing and fuctional revolver with a 3 3/4 inch barrel with an ejector that works. It is a handsome gun with custom one piece wood grips and a Bisley hammer that was modified to fit this revolver. It also has a custom made holster for it.
