Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are extremely proud to offer this seldom seen Colt Bisley Flattop. Any target model is a prize to the advanced Colt collector, but the icing on the cake is that only 44 of these were chambered in .32 Long Colt. Low production calibers add a huge boost to the value of any SAA, but combine that with the low production target model, and value goes into the stratosphere. Made in the year of our Lord 1900, she is in good shape for being 124 years old. The full blue is drifting, but fairly strong, with some silvering on the edges and the muzzle. The bore of the 7 ½ inch barrel is good, with plenty of shine, and strong rifling. The nicely figured and fancy checkered grips are also very good, with few handling marks. I would say that this gun saw little use, as it is crisp and tight. The included Colt Archives letter verifies the original build of this wheel gun, and is headed so that you won't need to waste time and cash on a replacement. This Bisley was shipped to the J.D. Weed Company, in Georgia. The store opened in 1816, and was family operated by 5 generations, and only closed recently. The case looks to be as old as the Colt inside, and is very well made. The revolver fits like a glove, with a cartridge block, nifty 2 piece cleaning rod, and patch compartment all present. This is the kind of complete package that collectors seek, and you won't be disappointed. If you having been seeking a high level collector grade Colt, but want the added clout of a lettered Bisley target model in an ultra low production caliber, then look no further.
