Mauser full custom by Thomas Berry of Purcellville, VA built on a DWM 1909 Mauser action with a 24" sightless barrel. Action surface ground and charger hump removed. Drilled and tapped. Custom pear shaped bolt handle. Custom checkered bolt release. Two position side swing safety. Timney fully adjustable trigger. Recontoured 1909 bottom metal with trigger bow floorplate release. Stocked in a superb piece of feather crotch American Black Walnut in the American Classic style. Shadow line cheekpiece. Two screw inletted sling studs fore and aft. Four panel 26 LPI point pattern checkering. Steel grip cap. 13 3/4" LOP over a steel buttplate with widow's peak. Recoil lug glass bedded. 8lb 1oz
This is a very well done piece with very nice inletting, checkering, and satin rust blue. Lots of features. It remains new from the maker.
