Description:
For your consideration, an Ithaca M1911A1 chambered in .45 ACP. Markings consist of a Rock Island Armory rework RIA stamp, the FJA cipher of Ordnance Inspector Lt. Col Frank J. Atwood, P proofs on slide and frame, and a shallow Ordnance Dept wheel. The US Property mark has been milled off and the name of what is presumed to be a previous owner neatly electropenciled in its place. The barrel is of High Standard make and the frame is Remington Rand dating to 1943. The magazine is a period-correct 2-tone. .45 ACP
