Colt 1877 Double Action 38 Colt 4 ½” Barrel, this is an American Express revolver and is a gray patina gun, Manufactured in Hartford Connecticut in 1896 two line colt patent address on top of the barrel and a rolled 38 Colt DA on the left side of the barrel, three line patent address on the frame on the backstrap is Am Exp Co. No 308 the number is worn down and hard to see but I believe it is 308 a colt letter would tell you for sure, this is in working condition with tight cylinder lockup in single-action and double-action, comes with original two piece hard rubber grips, the bore has a little bit of erosion in which would probably clean up pretty good.
