This is a Smith & Wesson 28-2 Highway Patrolman with the durable bead blasted matte finish produced for patrol duty as compared to the higher polished K 27 model, it has one very small scratch on the lower frame above the trigger. There are no other discernable blemishes on the firearm. The grips may have been replaced but appear to be a Smith & Wesson item. Very nice bore with good edges. This model was made on the full size N frame from 1954 to 1986. .357 Mag./ .38 Special
