Full custom .270 Winchester by Gary Goudy, Dayton, WA built on a Pre-War 1936 Winchester Model 70 action with a 24" barrel with a banded ramp front sight, barrel attached sling stud, and island ramp rear sight with one standing and one folding leaves. Receiver with Tilden safety lever, two panel pear shaped bolt knob checkering, and checkered bolt release. Blackburn bottom metal. Topped with Talley bases. Stocked in a very pleasing piece of English Walnut with strongly contrasting mineral streaks. Point pattern checkering with mullered border that wraps the forend and is over the top on the grip. Two screw inletted rear sling stud and ebony forend tip. LOP is only 13 1/8" but would go 13 5/8" with a one inch pad. A very nice piece that does show some hunting use. Blue at 98%. Stock finish at 95%
