Top of slide is manufacturer marked with the left side marked “Patent” and the right side with the caliber. Full serial number on left frame that has been fitted with a push button behind the trigger guard cutout. Only the first variation pistols had this button that requires depression to fire. Crown/N proofing in usual locations. Lightly scribed “FH” on right frame. Black plastic grips with the S&S logo surmounting a checkered bordered field. Original magazine with two oval windows on each side and an unmarked fixed base. Complete with original capture paper showing SN of pistol, dated 24 June 1946, and noted to be in “Duffel Bag”.
