Spectacular 99+% original finish, full size Llama pistol in 9mm Largo (.38), closely modeled after the Colt 1911A1 Government Model, with deep factory engraving, blued with Pearlite grips, in matching box. Pistol with 5 inch barrel, fixed front sight, drift adjustable rear sight with dual screw fixation, shallow ventilated rib, single action with serrated semi-beavertail hammer, grip safety, palm swell, lanyard ring, and correct magazine. The "LLAMA" notation in a hand inscribed banner on the left side of the slide. The left side of the frame marked with a proofing triad whereby U1 reflects production in 1976. Full serial number on the right side of the frame, along with "Stoeger Industries." The top and both sides are covered with deep factory engraving, the typical shield logo on the right side of the slide. Front strap with full vertical serrations. Fitted with the special pearlite grips, each panel with a silvered "LLAMA" escutcheon. Magazine with 8 indicator holes on the right side. Oversized detachable floor plate, forward serrations, marked "Made In Spain". Factory matching box marked with serial number and factory engraved status. Synopsis: Phenomenal, full sized, factory engraved Llama Gabilondo y Cia pistol with matching box. Condition: The pistol retains 99++% of its bright blue original finish, just a few small dings under the forward frame and a hairline scratch reflecting improper re-insertion of the slide stop. Grip straps, grips, and magazine are in the same impeccable condition. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Tattered box with taped repairs.
