Marlin 1897 model Born in 1900 with British proof , first take down 22 rimfire rifle made my Marlin. This 1897 is a round top version with round barrel and Rocky Mountain front sight. Magazine tube operates correctly, as does the rifle fires and ejects cartridge. Has another # professionally embedded in the stock on the bottom of the stock (see Pic). Bore scoped the barrel and has a perfect bore with a 24" length. Took the stock off the rifle and it is serial # to the same serial # on the receiver so it is original. Freight paid to lower 48 and no sales tax outside of Kansas.
