Description:
This is a rare Colt Banker's Special from 1930. According to the included Colt factory letter, it was delivered to the Railway Mail Service in Chicago, IL in September of 1930. It is all matching and has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. There appears to have been a post office marking on the back strap that has since been scrubbed away. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps with some minor high edge wear as well. Fitted with excellent checkered wood grips. Mint bore.
