The Glock 38 is a compact .45 G.A.P. that has been in production for more than 10 years now. This model shares the same form factor as most Glocks do. The drop, firing pin and trigger safeties make this one of the most reliable handguns on the market, not to mention the Glock name sets the standard in testing and safety ratings. The unique .45 G.A.P round was requested by Glock to reduce the possibility of case neck blowouts, and shorter to fit in a more compact handgun.
