Description:
This is an original hammer for the Winchester model 1873 rifle equipped with the set trigger release. The used gun part is in excellent condition showing vibrant original case color in the lower protected areas with the exposed surfaces now a dark pewter color with some areas of light pitting. This later model hammer was made for rifles that have the set trigger mechanism.
