Synopsis: Scarce Walther PP, RFV Issue, German Pistol, 134046P, FB01232 Description: Just a small number of Walther PP pistols were marked for the Reich Finance Ministry before they were blued as reflected by the front strap markings on this example. It is otherwise a standard configuration Walther PP, 7.65mm, with fixed front sight, drift adjustable rear sight. Loaded indicator. Left side of slide with usual Walther address reflecting manufacturer, model, and caliber. Full serial number on right side of frame. Eagle/N proofing on exposed barrel boss, right side of matching slide (hand scribed with last three digits of SN). The front strap is marked “R.F.V. 16726 W”. Standard black plastic grips and original magazine with a black finger extension, marked with the Walther banner on the left side. Condition: VG bright original salt blue with sharp edge wear and thinning of front/back straps as befitting a holstered pistol having had moderate use. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics.
