We offer free Shipping for orders over $500. Description: This is a British/Canadian socket bayonet for the Enfield Pattern 1853 rifles. The bayonet measures 20 1/2" long with a 17 1/2" fullered blade that has a small "E / (crown / 20" British proof on the ricasso. The blade shows areas of light gray patina with areas of light pitting, the socket retains most of its blue with areas of light surface oxidation throughout. The included black leather and brass scabbard is "NB" or New Brunswick marked serial # 2596 and WD Broad-arrow marked is in excellent condition with tight stitching and nice patina. The leather frog rates excellent and feature brass fittings with some light tarnish. It is maker marked "BH&G20" on the back with tight stitching and excellent finish. Price: $345.00 |
