J.C. Higgins Model 31 - Semi - Auto .22 Rifle - Smooth 2 piece walnut pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate and a 1 In. red retractble carry sling in very good condition. 24 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a ramped front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 24 Short, 19 Long and 17 LR ammo. Receiver is grooved for scope. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 85% bluing. Stock and forend are in very good condition woth some light monor scuffs . Includes a new soft sleeve. These are great shooters and very collectable. Manufactured from 1953 to 1962.
