Description:
Exceptional Engraved Browning Grade III Semi-Automatic Rifle With Case. This beautiful example was manufactured in Japan in 1975. The left side of the receiver is engraved with a dog scaring up two pheasants in a wooded meadow with a third laying up next to a tree. The right side is engraved with a dog bounding after three ducks taking flight. The top of the receiver is engraved with the bust of a dog holding a duck in it's mouth. There is expertly executed floral scroll engraving on the top and sides of the receiver as well as on the trigger guard. This rifle features a front brass beaded fixed blade and an elevation adjustable flip up white triangle rear notch sights. Equipped with a gold plated trigger. Mounted on a beautifully figured, multi-point skip-line checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with serrated steel buttplate. Complete with a Browning leatherette takedown case and keys.
Near new with light handling marks overall. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
