Hammerguns - This find Purdey dates from 1870 and was sleeved in modern times which has allowed it to become a very shootable and functional piece of history at an affordable price.
*If you are unfamiliar with the term "Island Lock" take a look at the right hand or left-hand lock on this shotgun and you will note that the stock wood goes all the way around the lock, thus making the lock an "island" of steel in wood.
