Description:
Lebeau Courally Sidelock ejector game gun.  12 gauge with 30" barrels.  Made in 1932, in Liege, Belgium the Lebeau Courally guns are often regarded as the best continental European made shotguns AND among the very best shotguns in the world!

The details:  Double triggers with front trigger articulated.  Non-automatic safety. Hidden third fastener.  Splinter forearm with Anson style button release.  The English/straight hand grip buttstock has a 14 3/8" LOP to the checkered butt with 1 3/8" drop at comb; 1 5/8" drop at the heel and 1/2" cast for a right hand shooter with 5/8" at the toe.  Sling swivels.

The 30" barrels have 2 3/4" chambers; a raised tapered, 3/8" to 3/16" concave solid rib with a small brass front bead.  A few years ago the previous owner sent the barrels to Briley in Houston to have the forcing cones lengthened, the bores "backbored" to .740" and the chokes set to .015" and .020" while maintain proof and minimal wall thicknesses of .024".  That work made the gun much more pleasant to shoot, knocked 5 ounces off of the overall weight of the gun to 7 lbs. 1 oz.

Mechanically this gun is perfect...crisp trigger pulls, well time ejectors, lock-up on face, perfect screws, bushed firing pins, Holland syle locks.

Cosmetically the 90 year old plus gun shows the appropriate amount of overall handling wear.  About 90% overall condition with fading blue, smooth checkering and lots of small handling marks on the wood..but no damage!

Conclusion:  A magnificent game gun with a fabulous pedigree ready for the next owner.
