5th Model Burnside Breechloading, Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial number om breech block is different from that on receiver. Receiver markings indicate early 5th model. Heavy pitting on outside of barrel. Bore fair or better with visible rifling. Both Cartouche are visible on left side of stock. Lower trigger plate is that of an early 5th model; the stock is inletted for older 5th model. Front barrel band is loose. This rifle was hanging above my unlce's fireplace. No one in his family knows when or where he got it. I don't remember it ever not being there. $860 includes shipping
