"German muzzle loading Cape Gun with .60 caliber rifle barrel and 24 bore shotgun barrel. High end example of a mid-19th century hunting weapon in the German style. Right hammer has a slight crack, but is sound. The gun is very nice overall. Marked “STROHEIN ET ENGEL IN FRIEDBERG" on the Damascus barrel. Patch box is wood and is spring loader. Has fine wood finger guard behind the trigger guard, in the Jaeger style. Light wood with beautiful grain. Original ram rod and sights.
